How to Get to Drake Bay

The fastest option is to fly from San Jose Airport to Drake (around 30 min flight). The only airline flying to Drake at the moment is Sansa.  We can help you with a shuttle to your hotel from the airport for $10 per person. If you need help let us know and we can do the arragement for you.

A shuttle is a great and confortable way to get to Drake Bay (well to Sierpe). This option picks you up directly from the airport or the hotel you are staying in and brings you  to Sierpe. The shuttle needs to be reserved and depends the season and occupancy.

For people traveling on a budget, there is a bus public bus from Tracopa bus station, there is two options, San Jose to Palmar Norte by the coast, or San Jose to Sierpe. The bus is about $12 per person, you have to be at the station atleast 30 minutes before the bus departs.

If you like to go on your own rithym and stop in the way, then renting a car is the best option for you! You can rent a car in San Jose and drive down.  The car rental companies in town are Alamo, Budget and National. Let us now if you need asistance!
